Project Background
Near NYC, 5 different sites along the Roundout Neversink Stream flow into NYC’s drinking water reservoirs.
Todd teamed up with the Sullivan County Soil & Water Conservation District to create productive Soil treatments to restore biology and vegetation along the eroding stream banks, so the water quality could be protected downstream. This project will help reduce erosion, increase productive soil around the stream, and improve water quality all the way downstream. From the forest to the city, Biological Soil treatments can help restore ecosystem health and water quality in the right direction.
